Missed connections at CSU Channel Islands
About CSUCI
CSU Channel Islands is California’s youngest CSU, set on a Spanish-mission-style campus in Camarillo a few miles from the Pacific. With the Channel Islands shimmering on the horizon, palm-lined corridors, and a small student body, it feels more retreat than university.
The CSUCI vibe
Students cross paths at the Broome Library, the Mission bell tower lawn, the Town Center, and the beach a short drive away. Because the campus is so small, the people you see on a Monday are the same ones you keep seeing all semester.
Missed connections at CSUCI
In a place where so many people are moving through the same spaces — the John Spoor Broome Library, the Student Union, the Rec, Anacapa Village or the Town Center apartments — small moments can be easy to miss and just as easy to remember. A smile across the John Spoor Broome Library, a quick exchange at the Student Union, or a kind word on the way out of class can stay with you. IVmissed gives you a way to say something if that moment stayed with you too.
