Cal Maritime is unlike any other CSU: a tiny, uniformed academy on the Carquinez Strait in Vallejo, where the training ship Golden Bear is docked outside the dorms and most of campus knows each other by name. Life here moves on watch schedules, cruises, and a community that’s small by design.
